LoginFill your days with non-stop thrills onboard the adventure-packed Anthem of the Seas®.
Check off your bucket list for good onboard the award-winning, Anthem of the Seas®. From 360-degree views in the North Star® observation capsule to simulated skydiving on RipCord® by iFLY® and the only bumper cars at sea, this memory maxing ship is your ticket to next-level experiences and once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
I was pleasantly surprised by this cruise. As someone who usually opts for longer journeys, a 10-night cruise was my shortest yet. This trip provided a delightful taste of the South Asia region and left me eager to return, perhaps even to repeat the same itinerary and explore more in the ports. This was also my first cruise with an overnight stop, which I highly recommend taking full advantage of—either by exploring ashore or enjoying the ship with fewer crowds. The ship is in fantastic condition, still appearing as if it just left the factory in Germany, despite being seven years old. For a large vessel, it's easy to navigate, and the ample space means guests are well-distributed. If you're familiar with Anthem's sister ships, you'll find the layout intuitive and quickly get your bearings. Be prepared for longer elevator rides; for short trips, taking the stairs is often quicker. Walking from the pool to deck 5, taking the stairs, especially going down, is usually easier. You'll likely hit around 10,000 steps daily due to the ship's sheer size. Service was excellent across the board. The food was consistently good, with no bad meals from the main dining room and a varied menu that changed nightly. I prefer the dining room over buffets to avoid crowds and find the quality significantly better there. Given the cruise's brevity, I skipped the theatre shows and main headline acts in 270, opting instead for trivia. I also didn't indulge in the spa or specialty dining, feeling it wasn't necessary for a five-night trip. I booked a balcony cabin, which was excellent. The design, layout, and functionality were thoughtfully planned, showcasing impressive German engineering. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great. This cruise can easily be marketed as a taster cruise. If you're a first-time cruiser or new to fly cruises, this would be an ideal itinerary. I'd gladly repeat this cruise if I could.
A very spectacular experience to cruise with Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas. Splendid service, smiling waiters, welcoming and helpful personnel onboard. Windjammer has a great spread and very good service. This was my 2nd time of the Singapore-Penang-Phuket cruise, first being Cruise to nowhere. However, I felt the shows onboard were better in terms of variety in the past than the current one. I missed that quality and spread this time. What I want to specifically mention is Patricia was an usher in Windjammer and it was an absolute pleasure to be welcomed with so much enthusiasm and vigour every time we visited the place. In the myriad group of people who work tirelessly to get this excellent experience to guests, she stands out in my mind this time around! Overall, a very value for money experience with a great service. I totalky look foward to my next now!
