the food was bleh...everywhere....we gained no weight which is rare for a seven day cruise.....customer service was GREAT...lines were not long in buffet area ...dining staff was great.. our waiter for dinner Made (that is his name) was wonderful...they do not have 24hr pizza but park place had decent sandwiches and snacks till 2 a.m. The ship is very clean...room attendant was great...brought ice and cleaned room daily...ports are wonderful...made up for the blah food...we had a ocean view room and it was nice and spacious for 2 people....oh..the dreaded shower curtain!!!! and small shower!!!! good water presser comfy bed and linens...there is no fridge but plenty of storage space. the tv had hdmi and av imports so we watched downloaded movies and listened to our own music which was wonderful only saw 1 show which was okay..the drinks are not strong but we got drunk in port everyday so it didnt matter..the solarium pool is beautiful...we paid 1400.00 bucks and got our monies worth
This was a great cruise. The ship was good the ports were great. If you went on this ship looking for a great ship with lots of things to do, this is not the ship for you. But if you are looking for a cruise that basically gives you 6 ports in 7 days, then you came to the right place. Being able to go to so many ports in so few days is a huge benefit over those 7 day cruises that only makes it to 3 ports and one of them being Royal Caribbean's' private island. I mean coco cay is great and all but i rather see St. Croix, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Lucia and Barbados over coco cay, but thats just me. I look forward to doing another cruise one day out of San Juan and hopefully it is with a slightly newer ship but if not, its ok. It's all about the PORTS!!
