In addition to AmaWaterways’ signature exquisite, locally sourced cuisine, you’ll find a massage and hair salon, gift shop, specialty coffee station, walking track, heated pool, fitness room and, of course, a fleet of complimentary bikes to use ashore. And each night, the stunning Main Lounge provides an exhilarating backdrop for enjoying performances by local entertainers.
Overall, this was a 5-star experience. The cruise manager, Andrijana, was a delight, and the other employees provided excellent service. Every detail was well thought out and taken care of, so you did not have to worry about anything. Would have appreciated more varied onboard activities for sailing evenings (like theme nights, etc.). All dining options were excellent, and Elena with the bar team always made sure your glass was full. Would have enjoyed longer stays at each location for more free time. A more detailed explanation of the itinerary, specifically the excursions, would have been helpful for determining level (gentle, regular, active) with mobility-impaired individuals. The cabin crew was excellent, making sure your room was clean and organized every morning and evening. Ship/cruise size was just right. Something the cruise company might consider doing is "themed" cruises (etc. mother/daughter, family, solo travelers, young adult travelers, etc.) to bring like-minded travelers together.
The most amazing experience! I’d only been on “big ships” and this was quite a different but mote personal experience. Our tour manager, Finn, was amazing from day 1 in Amsterdam down to the last good bye in Lake Como, Italy. The staff, all of them, remembered you down to your name, what your drink and food preferences were. Intimate small group excursions! It may have been my first river cruise but it won’t be my last. I think the Danube next! The food was fantastic, choices and they accommodate dietary restrictions or just personal likes and dislikes. I opted for the Chef’s table dinner and everyone should experience it! We signed up the first night on the ship for two to three nights in. It was seven courses, many wines from the area and amazing dessert, and explicable service. They sit you in all intimate groups. A anniversary and two birthday celebrations with their own cakes. I just can’t say enough !! Thank you AMAM Waterways for the experience!
An exclusive feature of the AmaVentia is her Twin Balcony Suites™. Lead in suites have twin windows and suites from Cat. C and above feature twin balconies, a French and outside balcony, so you can enjoy the ever-changing scenery however you wish.
Each feature in a suite was thoughtfully conceived with the comfort of their guests in mind. Suites start at 160 square feet, and can be as large as 350 square feet in the owner suite, giving you more space to sit back and relax in between meals and explorations. Artfully crafted to a first-class standard, each room is equipped with innovative designs, plush bedding, and many other special touches that make you feel like you’re getting the royal treatment.
To ensure guests have the most comfortable stay possible whilst on board, all suites receive fresh bottled water daily and are also serviced daily. In selected suites a Butler service is also available. In order to make your stay onboard as comfortable as possible large wardrobes are in each suite allowing you to unpack once and relax. Each suite also has additional amenities including Entertainment-On-Demand, complimentary Wi-Fi, movies, music and English language TV stations; climate-controlled air conditioning; and an in-room safe. Each suite also has a large, spacious sitting area with a sofa and two chairs as well as a spacious bathroom complete with a hairdryer, plush bathrobes, slippers and designer toiletries.
