Celebrity Edge marks a turning point in our approach to ship design. From the very first sketches to experiencing those designs in a virtual reality setting, every step was done in 3-D. From the incredible new Magic Carpet® to the private plunge pools in our new 2-story Edge Villas, we could design the most refined ship at sea. We loved everything about this ship. Beautiful decor, great food and choice of 4 restaurants. The theatre productions were fab and could always get a seat in the public spaces. The cafe was terrific . The Martini bar was lots of fun . We didnt get to use some of the outside areas as so busy. We had an infinity balcony which we enjoyed. Lovely bathroom with a spacious shower. We sailed from Sydney to Cairns and back, great that we had an overnight in Cairns as the 1st day the weather was so rainy and hard for the tender to launch. The crew were fantastic. Always asking how going. The officers were visible greeting guests and we enjoyed the meet and greet functions. Only negative was some drinks excluded from the package which are included on other cruise lines. Highly recommend this ship. We have booked for 2026 .
Beautiful ship, friendly staff, loved the infinite verandah as it made the cabin seem bigger than average; loved absolutely every single thing about Celebrity Edge. The entertainment was fabulous and second to none. Food in any of the four main dining rooms was fantastic. It was easy to "mix n match" the speciality meals between all four restaurants. The Martini Bar was great, in the Grand Plaza with some entertaining cocktail making. The Magic Carpet was a very novel idea for the tender service and the tender was pretty easy to access, despite the choppy conditions. The shuttle buses provided were comfortable and some drivers were very informative, others not so much. The shops on board were great but very expensive but they did have raffles and some freebies which was nice. Everything was very clean on board in the public areas. It would have been good to have more sanitising stations around, particularly near the lifts. They were located mostly around food and beverage areas. Overall, a fabulous holiday for us.
This was my 16th cruise, but the first on Celebrity, and I was impressed. It was definitely a step up from Princess. I did a back-to-back, spending 23 nights in an Infinite Veranda stateroom, which I loved. Both the room and bathroom were the largest and nicest I’ve experienced at sea. This first of the Edge class ships was great; I’m confident the newer ones will be even better. There are three entertainment venues that all presented creative production shows (The Theatre, The Club, and Eden). Food was good throughout, with Taj X (Indian specialty dinner) and the Chef’s Table in Fine Cut being particular standouts. The Oceanview Café had the best buffet food overall that I’ve encountered on a ship. While I think the Grand Plaza could have been better designed (more akin to Princess’ piazza) the rest of the ship was well laid out. The innovative Magic Carpet was interesting as a bar on deck 14 and served very well as its designed purpose for accommodating tenders. This cruise and the following one up the Australian coast were two of my favorites. I’m looking forward to more with Celebrity on their innovative ships.
The Edge is a beautiful ship with a super friendly crew, great food and fantastic entertainment. We were very curious to stay in an infinity veranda cabin, we liked it a lot. With temperatures being not to hot and not to could, we enjoyed our balcony. We had the window a little bit open during the night and we did not face any difficulties. The bathroom and especially the shower in Aqua Class is also a full „like“, together with the products that were provided. Our stateroom was very well kept by our staff. Als to mention: we sailed through the Fjords and there is one perfect place to view everything from the open area in the front of the ship that is part of the Thermal Suite. Also, we were lucky that during our cruise neither the Thermal area nore other areas of the Edge were overcrowded. Food was a real treat. We enjoyed it a lot. We tried Eden Restaurant as well, and can fully recommend this for a special night out.
This was our first cruise on Celebrity. All previous cruises were with luxury brands, so my expectations prior to the cruise were low. Even though they don't have some of the things that we get on the luxury lines (i.e Access to Spa included), Celebrity blew us away. The itinerary was spectacular and the crew was outstanding! I would highly recommend this itinerary to anyone, that has not been to New Zealand, and I would highly recommend Celebrity. The Edge being the first of it's class still looked pretty good, and was very easy to get around the ship. The food was amazing and just when I was starting to feel repetitive, they change it up! We ate at the Cosmopolitan every night but one night, it was an amazing experience every night. Suwida, Taufik and our sommelier Julie, made our cruise every night and made everyone look forward to dinner. Our room attendant Ronie also was amazing, he always made sure we had everything we needed, and always said hello. It was these great people who made our cruise memorable. I was also amazed to see and talk to the Captain several times, I have never seen or talked to the captain on my Viking and Explora cruises, other than planned events, never seen them roaming the ship.

Dine on your time
On our Celebrity Edge® Series ships, we may have reinvented the main restaurant experience with four different venues, but we haven’t changed the way you plan your dining. With Celebrity Select Dining you can choose early seating at 6:00 P.M., late seating at 8:30 P.M., or dine whenever you want. You’ll be assigned one of the four main restaurants, while having the option to dine in the other three upon request and availability.

Kids and Teen Programs
The fun starts at Camp At Sea, our onboard entertainment centre and program designed exclusively for kids ages 3 to 12. Open every day from 9:00am - 10:00pm, Camp at Sea offers kids the opportunity to participate in a number of entertaining activities, including treasure hunts, arts and crafts, sports, and theme parties, all under the supervision of our experienced youth staff. For our teen cruisers, the Teen Club is the place to be. At the Teen Club, they can make new friends and participate in events like video game competitions, teen parties, and culinary classes. Activities are overseen by our team of teen counsellors and offered throughout the day, allowing teens to come and go as they please.
Entertainment On Board
There’s no shortage of entertaining venues on board. Spend the day swimming in the pool with the kids, then watch the sunset while relaxing in one of our elevated hot tubs. Gather on board for movie night under the stars, silent disco parties, hot glass classes, and archery tournaments —so many activities to share. Family Friendly Excursions
