My sister, her 2 daughters, and myself flew to Miami to board the ship. Special shoutouts to the following: Tama/Alit & Irwan/Ikhsan!! All 4 of them were a big part in making this journey unforgettable. This was my 1st cruise, and when I arrived home I started searching online for another cruise with Holland America being my 1st choice. There were plenty of things to do with never a dull moment. Food: Kudos to all who had anything to do with feeding everyone! The food was way more than exceptional and tasty than I ever thought possible. Every port stop kept us busy, especially the shopping aspect. Half-moon Cay was fun. Holland America owns the island, and their employees served the best bbq lunch. The tour guide in Puerto Rico told interesting stories about the island. I especially liked the story of the smallest house in the world, which is in the Guinness book of records. This experience may very well be the start of a yearly cruise. I cannot wait to do it again!!
We have not sailed Holland America for about 40 years as we were in our early 30s at the time and the ship was actually a geriatric ward. Now that we are in our 70s, we fit in to the group and we had a great time.. Wii book again in the near future. The food was above expectations and the music in the atrium was superb with three or four different groups and single entertainers coming in without much of a lapse in time. The shows were also enjoyable.. Our State room attendant as well as dining room servers were also first class we generally sail in an inside room and don’t spend much time there. We sailed out of Boston and extended our sailing another seven days so we were on the ship for 21 days in total.. We are not newbies as this is about our 130th trip on many different cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean, NCL, princess, celebrity ,Virgin Voyager, Azamara, Viking Ocean and river among others.

Holland America Line's youth activities program, Kids Club, offers an array of entertaining events for kids and teens ages 3-17, supervised by a full-time, professionally trained staff. They'll have an opportunity to join other kids their age for arts and crafts, sports, video game competitions, scavenger hunts, challenging team games and themed parties.
Note: Kids Club is not offered on cruises of 25-days or longer, including all Legendary and Grand Voyages. We will offer a selection of children’s activities throughout these longer voyages for any children who may be onboard.
Safety Comes First
Safety is our primary concern and strict policies are in place for effective supervision. Adult guests are not permitted to remain in Kids Club unless attending to a special-needs child.
